Many asset managers are unaware of
the new legislation regarding the EPC for Commercial Buildings Energy Certificates. Commercial
property will require inspection by a commercial energy assessor who is
qualified to issue a commercial epc. Private businesses can also opt in and
many choose to do so as DECs are an invaluable tool in showing how much energy
is used by a building whilst measuring efforts made to reduce energy waste with
results in easy-to-understand graph form. EPCs can only be
completed by qualified and accredited non-domestic energy assessors.
Non-domestic buildings have been split into various level of complexity.
The
EPC provides an overview of the building’s energy performance and helps owners
and occupiers make their buildings more energy efficient. A Non Domestic Energy
Assessor (NDEA) produces Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for commercial
and industrial buildings. An EPC is a measure of the property’s energy
efficiency, and includes recommendations for improvements. This
information will help owners and occupiers make their building more energy
efficient and allow potential buyers and tenants to compare the energy
performance of different buildings. An Energy
Performance Certificate for a non residential / commercial building is intended
to inform potential buyers or tenants about the energy performance of a
building.
Whether in the air or on land, using
thermal technology is a great way to spot animals that may have otherwise been
completely hidden. From the preliminary investigation we also found that
temperature ranges emanating from the floor grilles indicate different
temperatures. Prompted by this we’ll set a project task to adjust dampers
correctly using anemometer/temperature probe and set a
baseline. It will also be included this into regular checks and maintenance
procedures. In the case of Country file, using a thermal imaging system allowed the
users to accurately track the thermal output of deer from a distance. In the
case of tracking wildlife, thermal imaging systems are rapidly becoming a
popular tool for wildlife enthusiasts. One of the world's premier manufacturers
of thermal imaging cameras, recently invented a range of thermal cameras built
for use in wildlife tracking. Footage from a thermal imaging camera taken late
at night reveals just a fraction of the makeshift camp was occupied. Thermal
imaging is a growing diagnostic tool in medicine. I use it for a diagnostic
tool on Horses but there are many ways it is being used in medicine for people.
